The portal "(Enjaz)" includes a list of eServices provided to citizens, beneficiaries, government and private sectors. These services can be accessed 24/7, by the Support and consulting offices, through online payment service.

BP-TS-04 - Application for Construction Permit

  4. Notification of the beneficiary for the acceptance of the application or Complete the notes if find.
  5. Notify the beneficiary for the date of the visit to conduct the technical inspection of the site.
  6. Conducting the technical inspection of the site to make sure the plot is fenced according to the specifications and the project board according to the prepared model prior to implementation in the case of the new projects.
  7. Contractor's deposit cash or bank guarantee (2%) of the value of the works as insurance for the removal of the waste (depending on the building area required).
  8. Pay fees.
  9. Issue the license.
  10. Notes:
    • The implementation follow-up report shall be submitted by the consultant prior to the commencement of any stage of construction listed in the report. The inspection shall be carried out by the municipality and the report shall be approved.
    • The consultant is required to supervise the buildings that cost more than (RO 10,000 - 10,000).

  1. A copy of the municipal license and the certificate of affiliation to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman and valid commercial registers of the contractor and the supervising consultant.
  2. Attach the undertaking of the implementing contractor and the supervising consultant.

  1. The ministry receives the building permit application form with the owner details, land details and consultant details and all required documents attached.
  2. Schedules the appointment for the field visit to carry out technical inspection of the site.
  3. Conducts the technical inspection and prepare the technical report for the site with the site photos attached clarifying its features.
  4. Approves the permit and detailed maps by its engineers.
  5. The required fees are paid by the applicant and the application is transferred to the municipality director for approval.
