	Antihistamine H1 blocker. (first generation)
Action
	Blocks histamine release, thereby reducing bronchoconstriction and vasodilatation.
Indications
	Anaphylaxis. Allergic reaction. Dystonic reaction.
Contraindications
	Hypersensitivity
Precaution
	Should be used with caution in pregnancy, history of asthma, experiencing severe intoxication.
Side effects
	Hypotension. Headache. Drowsiness. Tachycardia. Blurred vision.
Administration
Rout: IV	Onset: 10-15 minutes	Peak effect: 1 hour	Duration: 6-8 hours
Adult Dose:
	25 - 50 mg slow IV/IO push or IM.
Pediatric Dose:
	1.0 mg/kg slow IVP/IO.
