Action
	Monosccharide carbohydrate Increase circulating blood sugar level.
Indications
	Suspected or known hypoglycemia. (<3mmol/L OR <60 mg/dl)
Contraindications
	Intracranial Hemorrhage. Unconscious patient.
Precaution
	Altered level of consciousness Ascertain patient’s ability to swallow without airway compromise

	Allergic signs and symptoms.

Rout: Oral	Onset: 10 minutes	Peak effect: undetermined	Duration: undetermined
Adult Dose:
	1 tube (approx. 24mg/tube) Log roll the patient to prevent aspiration.
Pediatric Dose:
	Half adult dose for >12 years old Contact medical control for order in <12 years old
